Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager with a strong background in business development and a passion for the defence electronics industry. The ideal candidate will possess a BE (Bachelor of Engineering) or MBA (Master of Business Administration) and have proven experience in driving sales and marketing initiatives within the defence sector or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the defence sector, including government and military contracts. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including defence agencies, contractors, and partners.
2. Market Analysis
Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform strategic planning and marketing Strategy
3. Sales Strategy
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Create and execute sales plans, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
4. Marketing Initiatives
Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, trade shows, and industry events. Develop marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, and case studies to support sales efforts.
5. Proposal Management
Prepare and manage proposals, including writing and reviewing technical and commercial sections. Ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals to meet client requirements.
6. Customer Engagement
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
